Introduction

Truth + Media is the media brand of one of the winningest coaches in the NBA.

George Karl and his team produce Truth + Basketball with George Karl, The Curious Leader with Coby Karl (more on that here), Sonics Forever, and more shows being added. These podcasts bring together a specific community with compelling stories, down-to-earth conversations, and engaging guests who share their stories – on and off the court – about what made them who they are, and the common threads unite us all. Listen for powerful stories, hard questions, and lessons on life, sports, and leadership.

Their problem was not with content or audience.

Their challenge was finding an appropriate visual identity and promotional content that would match the exceptional content of their shows. This brand would be recognizable to their existing audience and still attract new consumers. The substance was there; they just needed the style.

After some deep dives with their team, we landed on visual solutions that spoke to the brands

values and its fans.

We also developed templates for promotional content that would make ongoing publicity simpler for their team, giving them more time to create great episodes.
